Our Story

Several decades of observing animals and plants in the Hawaiian and surrounding islands have produced an insatiable desire for us to design and create pieces of art and jewelry that stir emotional connections with our customers and nature. Educating our customers about the fantastic lives of these plants and animals has allowed us to gain a unique perspective regarding the importance of respecting the flora and fauna that miraculously survives in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. This aspect of our artistic design process has been essential in giving back to the community as we are also involved in volunteer projects that promote marine conservation. Many of the animal art pieces and jewelry we have designed by utilising the photos or videos that we have taken. Most of which we use in presentations at local schools and in our community to teach students about the importance of protecting marine life and habitat. We hope that you enjoy each piece of art as much as we enjoy creating it. Please understand that from inspiration to final product each piece has been thoughtfully made with the goal of highlighting the importance of every flower, plant and animal on our planet.

Oceanic Treasures creates each piece of art and jewelry by hand and we do not mass produce anything. We believe in quality over quantity. The majority of our art and jewelry is created from natural materials. In the age of digital and machine made products its rare to find anything online that hasn’t been produced in a factory.

We happily remind our customers that our handmade art is subject to minor discolorations in the painting or natural marks in the wood and materials. It is not made on an assembly line and delivered off a conveyor belt.
